Life Changes
Well...so much has happened to our family since our last post. Some bad and some good. But, isn't that life? I love the quote, "Your happiness is 10% circumstance and 90% attitude". On May 26th Todd came home from work early and told me he lost his job. (I find it interesting how the Spirit helps you through situations like this.) Normally I would have completely freaked and lost it, but surprisingly, I felt a calm come over me and I knew without a doubt that our family would be taken care of. I didn't know when or how, just that if we endured this trial and have faith, He will take care of us. It has been 3 weeks since Todd lost his job and we have already found a new one--in UTAH! Todd and I both for the past few months have felt a prompting that we were supposed to move there but both of us had no desire to pack up our family and leave Colorado. (I guess Heavenly Father knows we are both stubborn so he hit us upside the head--in a loving way of course.) A friend of ours in Utah has been telling Todd to apply at the company he works for for years, and he has a couple of times with nothing but a t-shirt and a thank you for your interest in our company letter. Todd felt inspired to call our friend, Nathan and ask if the company was hiring. He told Todd, "yes" and to email him Todd's resume. Nathan was kind enough to hand deliver it to the hiring manager of the department that was hiring. We are so blessed to have great friends that will help in time of need! We also have been blessed to find a beautiful home in Provo, only 7 miles from where he'll work. We are so excited to be closer to family and friends that we consider family. I am so thankful to a loving Heavenly Father who takes care of us and knows our every need. I have learned alot about myself over the last few weeks and as hard as it is am grateful for trials in my life that teach me to trust in Him.
hey you! how's utah???? miss you already!
